Weekend Wrap-up

 

I first need to send out a huge thank you to Lorie at “Be Different, Act Normal” and BlogHer.  I entered a giveaway on her site and now am the proud owner of a brand new Polar watch!!  I am so excited!!  I have owned a Polar watch for many years and love, love, love them.  But after time mine has become worn and faded.  Here is my before pic and then my after…

I love that you can keep track of the calories that you burned during your workout…I burned 456 in step aerobics this very morning!  And, you can keep track of your total calories for the entire week as well.  Very nice tools for anyone who is watching their weight.  Thanks again BlogHer and “Be Different, Act Normal”.

The second order of business is recapping the amazing things that I saw this weekend from other amazing blogs!

Check out this gorgeous pouf created by Decorating the Dorchester Way…I totally want to make one of these!

I fell instantly in love with this “Family Tree” pendant from The Lady with the Red Rocker.  She shows an amazing tutorial on doing this yourself! 

 And then I also spotted this lovely organization board from Wonderfully Made.  I love the blue color and the pattern in the background.  There is nothing better than when you can make organization pretty!

Tomorrow I am heading to Minneapolis to do a little antique/IKEA run!  Cannot wait!  Taking my daughter along.  She says that to make it fun she is going to pretend she is me an that she loves antiquities…we’ll see what happens!
